4th Annual Father's Day 100

This is a family event that is being co-hosted by Divine Mercy Parish (Sauk City), and Saint Mary's Parish (Platteville).

What do I need to do to participate in the race?

Just register right here, pay the fee and any extra t-shirts, and download and complete the liability waiver. Each participant must fill out and sign the waiver.

How can I pay the registration fee?

You can pay online right here (credit card or PayPal) or offline (check or cash). You can select either form of payment (including offline) at checkout.

How is the race program formatted?

The Father's Day 100 is an endurance race. All drivers sign in upon arriving at the track. A Safety and Coaching Orientation session is conducted trackside. Safety gear is issued and a 10 lap practice/qualifying session is run. Following practice, a Driver's Meeting is conducted to set up the race event. For this format of racing we create three driver teams. The race kicks off with the typical green flag start and driver #1 races the first 33 lap segment. A special pit lane is used to make driver changes every 33 laps or so. The entire 100 laps are run non­stop. The public address announcer keeps all drivers abreast of the running order and passes for position. This format of racing has all laps timed and race results are posted after each pit stop until driver changes are completed. Final race results and lap times are also available at the end of the event. The top three teams and their parishes are recognized with awards following the race event.

Can our group include people who aren't racing?

Of course! There will be fun for the whole family! There will be a children's bicycle race on the track prior to the big event. Bring your bike and win. There will be prizes to the first, second, and third place winners. There will also be face painting, balloons, and the main event cheering dad on! Not to mention all the goodies to eat and drink. The entertainment doesn't stop just because you don't race. Some people seem to have more fun giving those driving a hard time rather than driving themselves.

Is there an age limit?

Drivers need to be 18 years of age or older. There are no exceptions to this.

How much does it cost to sponsor a team?

$300.00

What benefits do team sponsors get?

Team sponsors will be providing a day of fun for an entire family on Father’s Day. In addition to that we will announce the racers and their sponsors in the parish bulletin, in the parish lobbies, and on the Divine Mercy Parish website. They will be announced at the event as well and the business logo will be featured on a team t-shirt that the drivers will wear for the race. How do I sponsor a team?

You can either form your own team and sponsor them (team sponsor) or find a business or organization that would want to sponsor your team. The sponsor pays for the registration fee and will get advertising exposure before and during the race. The fee covers the race admission fee, gear, and 3 team t-shirts. Please send the logo of your sponsor to margaret@saint-aloysius.org.
