Terms and Conditions of the Family Catechesis Program

By enrolling in the Family Catechesis program, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  • You commit to attend all the sessions of the program, which are designed to help you and your children grow in faith and knowledge of the Catholic Church. The sessions will include presentations, discussions, activities, and prayers. The schedule and location of the sessions will be communicated to you in advance.

  • You commit to complete the work that you need to do at home with your children, which will reinforce what you learn in the sessions and help you apply it to your daily life. The work will include reading, reflection, exercises, and assignments. The materials and instructions for the work will be provided to you by the program coordinator.

  • You commit to practice the Faith and to attend Mass every Sunday and Holy Days of obligation with your children, as this is the most important way to worship God and receive His grace. You also commit to participate in the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist regularly, as they are essential for your spiritual growth and healing.

  • You understand that the Family Catechesis program is not a substitute for your primary responsibility as parents to be the first and best teachers of your children in the ways of faith. You agree to support, guide, and encourage your children in their faith journey, and to be good examples for them by living according to the teachings of the Church.

  • You understand that the Family Catechesis program is a privilege and a blessing, not a right or an obligation. You agree to respect the program coordinator, the catechists, and the other families who are part of the program. You agree to follow the rules and policies of the program, and to cooperate with any feedback or evaluation that may be required.

  • You understand that failure to comply with these terms and conditions may result in your dismissal from the program or other consequences as determined by the program coordinator or the pastor of the parish.
