Beloved: Mystery and Meaning of Marriage

Do you know someone who has fallen away from the Catholic Church… perhaps a family member, a friend, or a co-worker? Are you aware that healthy Catholic marriage is the antidote to this epidemic?

Here is how the two are related. The number one reason people leave the Church is because the Catholic faith was not integrated into their family life. They may have attended Mass regularly and received some form of religious education, but they did not experience how faith is lived out practically with prayer, study, faith sharing, and service. In other words, family faith formation makes all the difference! And, what is the foundation of family faith formation? Holy, healthy marriages!

We have a wonderful opportunity to grow as a parish family in our understanding and appreciation of the Sacrament of Marriage. I invite you to participate in a video based study called BELOVED offered on formed.org and which is going to be taught during the next coming weeks in our parish. With beautiful film-making and compelling teaching, BELOVED will move your heart and give you plenty to discuss as a couple, family, or as a group of friends. We will be watching one episode per week.

Beloved: Mystery and Meaning of Marriage is going to be taught on Thursday evenings at 6 PM on June 14, 28, July 5, 12, 19 and 26. This program is open to both engaged and married couples, single people, or just anyone who wants to learn more about the sacrament of marriage.
