Retirement Party for Margaret Nelson

Mary Mother of Mercy Pastorate will be losing a special and vibrant soul from their parish administration.  Margaret Nelson, a beautiful, loving and smiling fixture these past 18 years will be moving on to new adventures with her husband Dondi and family.  We are certain she will continue to brighten the paths to all who encounter her along this new road.

Margaret began working here in 2007 when St. Aloysius Church was her sole responsibility.  As everyone knows, her duties have included far more than her title of Finance Manager.  She willingly embraces all opportunities that are whispered in her ear.  As St. Aloysius merged to become Divine Mercy Parish and now Mary Mother of Mercy Pastorate, her contacts and involvement continue to expand.

All who cross paths with Margaret are greeted with her vibrant smile and willingness to assist and facilitate any requests, always outdoing what is required.

All of us now have the opportunity to express our love and goodbye to Margaret on Saturday, December 13 after the 4:30 PM Mass.   Our Knights of Columbus Council 3099 from St. Al's and St. Norbert's have generously offered to provide Arby’s roast beef sandwiches.  Please bring a salad, fruit or vegetables to share.  Beverages, cake                and tableware will be provided.
