Mass Schedule Pastorate 8
This is a Holy Day of Obligation, which means that we are obliged to attend Mass and honor the Blessed Virgin Mary. The Immaculate Conception is the dogma that Mary was conceived without original sin, by the grace of God, in view of the merits of her Son. This means that Mary was preserved from the stain of sin from the first moment of her existence, and remained sinless throughout her life. She is the model of holiness and purity for all Christians.
We invite you to celebrate the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception with devotion and joy. Let us ask Mary to pray for us and to help us imitate her virtues. Let us also thank her for her fiat, her yes to God, which made possible the Incarnation and the Redemption. Let us honor her as the Immaculate Conception, full of grace, the blessed among women, and the cause of our joy.
