Young Adults

“The study of truth requires a considerable effort - which is why few are willing to undertake it out of love of knowledge - despite the fact that God has implanted a natural appetite for such knowledge in the minds of men.” ― St. Thomas Aquinas

"Classical Education" has become sort of a "buzz-phrase" among Catholic circles. But what is it, and why is this curriculum of the past becoming such a growing trend among Catholic educators? Join us next Thursday, April 13th at 7 PM for guest speaker Phillip Pinell, (3rd year PhD student in UW's politcal science department), who will talk on why and how to educate yourself classically - especially since you will not be getting this kind of education from secular schools and colleges.

Please note that this month we will meet at the Prairie House restaurant in Prairie du Sac, WI instead of the Dorf Haus. Join us for free appetizers and great fellowship with fellow Young Catholics!

*Also an important note, that starting this month Imbibe will be moving from two times a month to only one time per month. We will continue holding events on the second Thursday of every month, (and possibly the occasional Saturday for certain special events!)
